We have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join us.
This is a hands on role where you will be a key part of the ongoing success of our Tauranga branch, building our local reputation and connections as a leading civil engineering design, construction, asset, and project management services. You'll manage projects and provide advanced professional technical leadership and expertise on medium to large civil infrastructure projects from procurement through to implementation. This includes design management, client management, and programme management.
Here's a snapshot of the role...
- Project management - Fulfil the role(s) of Project Manager, Contract Manager, Engineer's Representative, Quality Manager, Environmental Manager, Site Safety Manager and Site Supervisor on assigned projects as required.
- Manage and/or provide transportation design and general civil design services and/or asset management to a senior level.
- Assist the Branch Manager to achieve annual Business Plan objectives.
Here's the technical aspect of what we are looking for:
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the Civil Engineering industry
- Strong local connections profile with local authorities and NZTA.
- Existing local knowledge and experience, with a focus on Business Development.
- Proven experience in Project Engineering and Project Management.
- Significant experience in transportation and general civil design and contract management with the ability to produce innovative and original work that provides specific technical solutions to complex challenges.
- Proven competence in planning and organising work schedules and delivering projects to specified timelines.
